Corrections policy

How Security.io handles errors, clarifications, updates and reader challenges.

Corrections

Material factual errors are corrected promptly. The corrected page includes a dated note describing the substance of the change. The original error is not preserved in the main body when doing so would continue to mislead readers.

Clarifications

A clarification may be added when the original wording was factually defensible but insufficiently precise or likely to create a mistaken impression.

Updates

New facts added after publication are identified with an updated timestamp. Routine typographical repairs that do not alter meaning may be made without a correction note.
